The Ministries

In As Much Ministries

In As Much Ministries is a food and clothes pantry that serves the Liberty area. In As Much volunteers collect and sort non-perishable goods, clothes, and household items for distribution to families in need. They also accept cash donations that allow the to help with rent, utilities, prescriptions and Christmas presents as well as to buy food from Harvesters Food Bank when their local supplies run low.

Freedom House successfully helped In As Much Ministries find temporary housing at Liberty Springs Convenant Church at the intersection of Highways 69 and 33 north and east of Liberty.

Love INC

Love In the Name of Christ is a clearing house and used-furniture ministry for those in need. It provides referrals to individuals that connect them with charities, churches and organizations that best meet their needs.

Freedom House has helped Love INC find temporary housing in the new Prudential Carter/Duffey Building at Interstate 35 and Highway 152 in Liberty.

Hillcrest Ministries

Hillcrest Ministries is a transitional housing organization that helps people who have found themselves homeless. Hillcrest assists them in finding a place to live free of rent while getting their feet underneath themselves.

A self-described "boot camp for the homeless," Hillcrest works with its clients to help them develop the tools necessary to keep themselves financially stable.

The Vision

Freedom House is a not-for-profit organization formed to provide a permanent facility for housing charitable/helping organizations in Liberty. Its mission is to provide and operate a unique facility to house organizations that support faith-based and other social and human service providers that are meeting needs of the less fortunate without discrimination and helping individuals and families to improve their quality of life.

Freedom House was developed out of need to relocate ministries housed in the Spirit of Liberty building in the Liberty Triangle, which will be torn down this spring to make way for a new roadway. Freedom House planners' first order of business was to find an immediate, temporary place to house these organizations until the Freedom House could be built.

The Need

We need your help. The estimated $2 million Freedom House will be built and funded with 100% volunteer donations from people like you in the community. We ask you to prayerfully consider making a three-year pledge that will help in purchasing land and building a facility that will fit the current and future needs of these and other organizations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help a hometown organization that supports hometown charities that help hometown people.
